IP Video

Compared to data and voice, video is a new mode of communication. As enterprises increase the adoption of IP as a platform for voice traffic, there is greater interest in expanding IP's real-time repertoire to include video. Converged networks from some vendors now support video-over-IP. Such new technologies have significantly lowered the cost of deploying videoconferencing and IP-based video surveillance.
